Question Number 3: Does the Trust have dedicated funding for a team ensuring VTE prevention occurs? | |
Answer To Question 3: We have a dedicated anticoagulation and thrombosis team, with a focus mainly on the treatment of VTEs. The Lead Nurse does have VTE prevention as part of their remit, but it is not the main focus. There is a Thrombosis Committee to ensure that all VTE prevention policies are approved and up to date. | |
