For those living with a Stoma, we are now offering free swimming sessions. These have been generously provided to us by Wessex Stoma Support Group and Colostomy UK. This is a great space to meet and connect with other people living with Stomas as well as have some refreshments and a chat after you鈥檝e finished swimming. The sessions take place on the following dates and times:
Saturday 9th of November 1:15pm-2:15pm
Saturday 7th December 1:15pm-2:15pm

Dedicated spaces and sessions for stoma users are vital because they provide a supportive, understanding environment where people can feel comfortable engaging in activities like swimming, which may feel challenging or intimidating in public spaces. These sessions help reduce isolation and build confidence, offering a welcoming space to connect with others who share similar experiences.
