Tests and Investigations which might take place

How is myeloma diagnosed?

If your GP has concerns, you will be referred to the Haematology Department at the Hospital. The Haematologist (a Doctor who specialises in blood related disorders) will then arrange for necessary tests to be conducted in order to confirm whether you have a blood disorder. These tests may include the following to determine if you have myeloma:

Blood tests
Imaging tests
Bone marrow biopsy
