Symptoms of head & neck cancers

The symptoms of head and neck cancers are broad, depending where the cancer has developed and whether this has spread.

Macmillan Cancer Support have put together the following information which gives an overview of the signs and symptoms of head and neck cancers:

Please be aware that not all patients will experience all of the symptoms listed, so if you have any concerns about any symptoms then it is important to speak to your GP or Dentist.

The symptoms can also be signs of other conditions, as well as cancer.

If your GP or Dentist have any concerns, they will be able to refer you to the hospital for further checks, if needed.
